Patrick Kendrick

Patrick Kendrick, is an award winning writer, as well a former fire fighter and freelance journalist. He works, occasionally, as a consultant and trainer for the U.S. Army and Department of Defense. His articles have appeared in numerous newspapers and magazines such as the Miami Herald, the Reader’s Digest and industry magazines like Fire Engineering. \nKendrick’s first novel, Papa’s Problem, an historical mystery, won the Florida Book Award in 2009 and the Hollywood Film Festival Opus Magnum Award. His second novel, Extended Family, a dark thriller, earned a starred review from Booklist and has been a best seller on Kindle. His third novel, Acoustic Shadows was a Royal Palm Literary Finalist.
